It is time for the great city race!
Robby the rabbit is so excited. This is his first big race.
He is a fast rabbit and wants to win.
Five animals are in the race this year:
Robby the rabbit, Charlie the chipmunk, Gary the goat, Teddy the turtle and Ollie the owl.

Robby really wants to win the race.
The race is long. The racers will first run on a road.
Then they will swim across a river.
Last they will go to the top of a big hill.
It looks hard. Robby will need energy.
All five animals go to the start line.

Sally the snake waves a flag and says “The race begins now!”
All of the animals start to run. Robby the rabbit is in the lead!

Robby takes the carrot. Gary the Goat sees him.
Gary says: "I need food too. Will you share your carrot with me?"

Robby is still hungry.
Charlie the Chipmunk runs past Robby. Gary the goat runs past Robby.
Robby is now behind Charlie the Chipmunk and Gary the goat.

Robby eats the carrot. It is good. Robby has more energy!

Teddy the turtle got stuck in some sticks!
If Robby helps Teddy the turtle, it will take a lot of time. Robby may lose the race.

Robby tries one last time. He tries to lift the sticks one at a time.
This time it works. Robby helps Teddy the turtle get free!
Teddy says "Thank you, Robby. You are a good friend." Teddy runs ahead of Robby.
Robby is now behind Teddy the turtle and Ollie the owl.

It is a long way. Robby is a slow swimmer.

Robby gets to the end of the river. He is wet. He is tired.

Teddy the turtle says: "ok! Jump on my back!"

The hill is steep. It will be tough for Robby.

Far away Robby can see a unicorn, a dragon and a puppy with a cape. They are all playing together.

Robby steps on Teddy the Turtle. Teddy hides in his shell and says "Hey! That hurts!"
